Great score on the furniture legs. . .what are your plans for them? Love the basket also, I have several around my house that I use for storage of different items. Toni
You hit the jackpot on the furniture legs. And I'm with the other commenters, I can't wait to see what you come up with to do with them. Love the basket!*smiles*
As a fellow thrifty treasure hunter I can see why you bought the box of furniture legs, oh the possibilities. Please post when you have put them to use. I'll bet the ideas are spinning in your head. I also love the scales you found, what a bargain for only 1.00. I saw one the other day at a sale for 12.00 that wasn't in near as good a condition as the one you got. Sigh, I'm jealous. Thanks for sharing.
First and foremost I am a wife and mother. I consider my family my greatest blessing! I am a major thrifter. I love the thrill of the hunt for that unique piece as much as I enjoy taking something discarded and making it beautiful. It's an addiction. I can't help always having a project (or two) in the works. I enjoy the inspiration that comes from other blogs.
We bought our home in central Washinton 12 years ago as she was going into forclosure. She wasn't pretty but the price was right. Although she had lime green paint, an orange roof, and a large wheel chair ramp that covered the front steps we could see her potential! She has good bones and is on a double lot. With lots of sweat equity she is now the home she was meant to be. We spent the summer of 2009 building a 1300 sq. ft. addition in back. It has been fun to furnish with my thrifty finds.
I love the furniture legs! What are you plans for them?
